Yeast Infections

Most females have naturally occurring yeast in their vagina. However, when the yeast begins to grow more than usual, it can cause an irritation in the vagina. Yeast infections can occur both in males and females, and can be passed to a partner during sexual intercourse. Yeast infections can be treated with over-the-counter medications. They can be cause by many things, including some antibiotics, changes in hormone levels, and pregnancy.
