Hair
During puberty, hair starts to grow on the body where there was little or no hair before. Both males and females start to grow pubic hair around the genitalia and in the armpits. Many females shave their armpits once they start to grow hair there. Males also begin to grow facial hair during puberty. Some females grow a little facial hair as well, such as mustache-like hairs on the upper lip. Some people develop more or thicker hair on other parts of their body as well, such as their chest or back.
